DITSONG MUSEUMSof South Africa is a National Museums based in Tshwane. It is a PMFA Schedule 3A public entity under the Department of Arts and Culture.
 
 
The institution seeks to appoint a suitable person with relevant experience and qualifications as Director: Ditsong National Museum of Natural History The Ditsong National Museum of Natural History requires the services of a confident, inspirational leader with business acumen to take charge of the strategic aspects of the museum's operations. This role demands a Master's degree in Business Management/Administration or equivalent or in the relevant field of expertise, supported by a minimum of 10 years in a management position (at least 5 years at senior management/executive level). A Doctoral degree in Management will be an added advantage.
 
Key performance areas: • Strategic leadership, Museum operations • Customer relations management • Curatorial services • Performance management.

Knowledge of the natural sciences and archaeozoology will be an added advantage.
