Coordinate the implementation of wastewater risk abatement planning principles within catchment management areas. Monitor effluent quality of municipal wastewater effluent in terms of compliance with authorizations. Monitor performance of all wastewater service related norms and standards as promulgated under Section 9 of the Water Services Act. To assess wastewater infrastructure where and when so required.
