THE EMPLOYER
The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency is a statutory authority, established in terms of Section 4 of the Cross-Border Road Transport Act, Act No. 4 of 1998, as amended, to regulate cross-border road transport.
The position will be based at the Agency’s Head Office in Menlyn. The incumbent will report directly to Manager: Risk Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications
• Degree in Risk Management, Commerce or Financial Management
Experience
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in risk management field.
• Knowledge of the risk and governance standards such as ISO 31000: 2009, COSO framework and King IV
• Experience in working in a regulatory environment will be advantageous.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Assist in the development and communication of the Risk Management Framework to all stakeholders in the Agency and monitor its implementation;
• Continuously improve the Agency’s risk management maturity level;
• Assist management with risk identification, assessment and development of mitigation strategies and monitor implementation of these strategies;
• Collate, aggregate, interpret and analyse the results of risk assessment to extract risk intelligence;
• Report risk intelligence to the Executive Management Committee (EXCO), Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARC) and the Board; and
• Continuously review and update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

• Persuasive and assertive
• Good interpersonal skills
• Report risk intelligence to the Executive Management Committee (EXCO), Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARC) and the Board; and
• Continuously review and update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
