The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) is seeking a dynamic and results orientated Director who is skilled and experienced in labour relations and dispute resolution and has not been convicted of any offence involving dishonesty, to supervise the commission staff, manage and direct activities of the commission and provide leadership towards the achievement of the organisation’s mission, vision, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. With the Chairperson, to enable the Governing Body to fulfill its governance function.
The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration is an independent and autonomous organization that was established by the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 (LRA) to deliver dispute prevention and resolution services to the people of South Africa. The core mandate of the CCMA, as one of the organisations charged with implementing the LRA, is derived from the purpose of the LRA, which, amongst others, is to advance economic development, social justice, labour peace and the democratisation of the workplace.
The Director will perform functions that are conferred by or in terms of the Labour Relations Act or any other law.
The CCMA employs approximately 874 Full-Time employees and utilises the services of almost 600 Part- Time Commissioners. The CCMA National Office is in Johannesburg with eight Provincial Offices delivering services to users in the nine Provinces.

Key Requirements:
- Relevant Masters Degree in Business Management or field of law or related. (knowledge of employment laws would be advantageous)
- 8 to 10 years+ Experience at a Senior

LEGAL OFFICER: LITIGATION
National Office

The Corporate Services Department- Legal Services Unit has a vacancy for a Legal Officer: Litigation.
Purpose: To enhance the delivery of timeous and quality services of the Legal Services Unit of the CCMA by providing support to the Litigation sub-unit within the Unit.
Key Performance Areas:-
· Management of Reviews and other litigation processes
· Court Appearances
· Drafting and service of instructions and legal documents
· Litigation Administration and record keeping
· Reporting
· Communication with internal and external stakeholders
· Monitoring outcomes of review judgments pertaining to the CCMA
Key Requirements:
· LLB degree or equivalent
· Admission as attorney preferable
· 1-3 years’ relevant working experience in a Legal environment
· Functional knowledge of the South African Labour Law
