The Western Cape Province – Cape Town Office has a vacancy of Case Management Officer.
 
Purpose
To effectively and efficiently handle queries and assist the public with regard to appropriate processing procedures, screening of cases in terms of relevant legislation and CCMA guidelines. 
 
Key Performance Areas:-
  • Case Advice
  • Case Screening
  • Case Capturing
  • Schedule and screen documentation
  • Process outcome and finalise cases
  • Venue Administration
  • Pre-Conciliation
 
Key Requirements:
  • Unless a candidate can demonstrate suitability through relevant experience of not less than three (3) years in an Employment Laws, Trade Union environment/Bargaining Council/Labour Inspector or Human Resources role, a Matric and Diploma in Labour Relations (or relevant equivalent) with one (1) year of practical
    experience will be required
  • One (1) to three (3) years relevant working experience in a case management service Employment Laws, Trade Union environment/Bargaining Council/Labour Inspector or Human Resources role
  • At least 2 African languages would be an advantage

REGIONAL SENIOR COMMISSIONER
Mpumalanga Province- Mbombela Office

The Dispute Resolution Department has a vacancy of Regional Senior Commissioner.
 
Purpose
To provide a management support role to the Provincial Senior Commissioner in the Mpumalanga Province, Mbombela Office and to assist with the statutory functions of the commission in order to ensure all efficiencies and statutory requirements are always met.
 
Key Performance Areas: –
  • Management of the dispute resolution and case management systems and functions
  • Management of/Oversee the Mediation and Collective Bargaining function
  • Management of/Oversee the dispute management and prevention function
  • Monitor Conciliation/ Arbitration hearings
  • Management of Commissioners
  • Management of Reviews Rescissions and Enforcements
  • Provide support in managing support services
  • People Management
  • Reporting
  • Regional Operational Plan
 
Key Requirements:
  • Unless a candidate can demonstrate suitability through experience of not less than 10 years, an appropriate Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent is required.
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in dispute resolution and 2 – 3 years’ experience at Management Level
  • Training on Labour legislation
  • Commissioner Training
  • Training on the CCMA policies and procedures
  • Management and Leadership
