The Finance Department, in the National Office, has a vacancy for a Bid Secretariat Officer.

Purpose: To provide comprehensive and professional secretariat and administrative support to the Bid Specification, Bid Evaluation, Bid Adjudication, and Loss Control Committees, ensuring that all procurement processes are conducted in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner. The role is also responsible for administering and coordinating the end-to-end bid process, as well as supporting the sourcing of goods and services in accordance with the CCMA’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Policies, Procedures, and applicable regulatory frameworks.

Key Performance Areas: –
• Committee Coordination and Meeting Management.
• Secretariat Support and Minute Taking.
• Compliance and Governance Monitoring.
• Decision Tracking and Implementation Monitoring.
• Monitoring the Approved Procurement Plan and Keeping Committees Informed.
• Supporting SCM in Adhering to Procurement Timelines and Compliance.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication.
• Records and Demand Management.

Key Requirements:
• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Public Procurement or Administration in Public, or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management in a similar function (committee secretariat)
• Training on the procurement system (ACCPAC)
• Training on MS Office
• Training in Public Procurement.
