The Governance and Strategy Department has a vacancy of an Officer: Stakeholder Management.
 
 
Purpose
The Officer: Stakeholder Management will support the efficient and effective delivery of the CCMA mandate and strategy as well as encourage innovation and unlock new generation ideas.

Through the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships of the CCMA, the Officer: Stakeholder Management will facilitate the timeous, effective and relevant stakeholder identification, mapping, engagement and management to ensure that projects emanating from the strategic partnerships and stakeholder management processes are executed and effectively managed.
 
Key performance areas
• Support the proactive and reactive identification of opportunities to establish strategic partnerships in support of the delivery of the CCMA mandate and strategy
• Support the facilitation of the formalisation of strategic partnerships, including the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
• Work within the policies, procedures, and values of the CCMA and those of the strategic partners to achieve the aims and objectives of the projects and initiatives arising from the signed MOUs.
• Develop effective relationships and collaborative working styles with strategic partners and key stakeholders including CCMA internal departments and regional offices to ensure effective operationalisation of signed MOUs, through the convening of regular meetings with the strategic partners and implementing internal Departments, and producing progress reports on MOU activities.
• Support the facilitation of MOU reviews, renewals, and or terminations, as and when relevant.
• Establish and maintain up-to-date stakeholder databases and provide input into CCMA stakeholder identification, mapping, needs assessment, and engagement processes.
• Support the development, implementation, review and maintenance of the stakeholder management policies, frameworks, strategies and implementation plans, in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, corporate governance principles and industry best practices, in supporting the delivery of the CCMA’s mandate and strategy.
• Contribute to the development of the sub-unit annual operational plan (APP) through the interpretation of, and alignment with the organisation’s strategy and related annual performance plans.
• Support the facilitation of timely, relevant, and useful internal and external communications, including press releases, videos, newsletters and organisational presentations.
• Assist in responding to all findings and action plans related to the internal audit, external audit, risk management and compliance management.
• Support the preparation of all sub-unit’s monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports for relevant management, governance structures and external stakeholders, according to the set standard, requirements, guidelines and agreed frequency
• Other task and duties as assigned

 
Key Requirements
• Appropriate qualification in stakeholder management, project management, communications and/or any other related field
• Minimum of three (3) years’ practical and technical experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills including relationship and partnership building, clear and concise information provision and managing stakeholder enquiries and complaints

• Competent knowledge and experience in formulating stakeholder management policies, frameworks, strategies and implementation plans, in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, corporate governance principles and industry best practices
• Competent knowledge and experienced client service management practices

• Competent management of information and reporting principles, tools and mechanisms
