COMMISSION FOR CONCILIATION, MEDIATION AND ARBITRATION (CCMA)
 
MANAGER: PLANNING AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING 
- NATIONAL OFFICE - (POST LEVEL 05)
 
The Governance and Strategy Department, in the National Office, has a vacancy for a Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring.
 
 
Purpose: Utilising appropriate strategic management tools, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to manage the CCMA’s planning processes, both at a strategic and operational level, ensuring that in the delivery of the CCMA’s vision, mission and mandate, there is in place an approved Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring to ensure that Departments and Regions are operating on approved Operational Plans. Moreover, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to facilitate performance monitoring and evaluation processes of the CCMA, including conducting impact assessments.

• Strategic forecasting and situational analysis
• Strategic Planning (Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan)
• Departmental and Operational Planning
• Organisational Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
• Production of Performance Information Dashboards
• People Management
• Budget Management
• Unit Management
 
 
Key Requirements:
• Appropriate Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ advanced practical experience in strategic and operational planning and performance monitoring
• Advanced practical knowledge and practical experience in using strategy and performance tools
• Advanced knowledge of planning and performance monitoring frameworks and guidelines governing the CCMA as a public entity
• Good understanding of legislations and policies applicable to the CCMA as a public entity
• Demonstration of the ability to manage a team and manage big projects
