COMMISSION FOR CONCILIATION, MEDIATION AND ARBITRATION (CCMA)
 
Executive: Shared Services - National Office (Post level: 02)
The Shared Services Department has a vacancy of an Executive Shared Services.
 
Purpose:
To provide strategic direction in all Shared Services functions of the CCMA to ensure that the CCMA complies with legislation, risk is minimized and internal controls are maximized.
The incumbent will look after Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal Services. Must have extensive experience in developing and executing strategies in the areas above, with good record of accomplishment of success.

 
Key Performance Areas:-
• Provide strategic and operational technological guidance within the organization.
• Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.
• Assess and anticipate technology projects for the future and recommend appropriate action and resources.
• Create CCMA of the future through technology.
• Develop people centred strategies aimed at attracting, retaining and rewarding good performance.
• Create a conducive environment that facilitates health and safety of employees, prioritising work-life balance.
• Ensure harmonious relations with employee organisation and highly engaged and productive employees.
• Create a gender and race sensitive succession pool through facilitation of programmes aimed at development of employees.
• Provide sound advisory on Legal, IT and Human Resources.
• Safeguard the CCMA on all contractual matters
• Oversee and manage legal services including contracts, litigation, defence of the CCMA and instituting legal action.
• Ensure compilation of CCMA Commissioner Practice and Procedure Manual

Key Requirements
• A post graduate Degree in Management Sciences or Law or Social Science.
• 8 - 10 experience within Shared Services (similar environment) of which 5 years must be in a Senior / Management Level.
