DESIGNATION: JUNIOR VIDEOGRAPHER

Appointment Minimum Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• 1 year relevant experience

• National Diploma in Video Production, Film Studies, visual arts, or a related field
Primary Function:
As a Junior Videographer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Digital Team within the Relationship Management Department to produce high-quality videos that showcase City Power’s brand and tell our story.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our creative team, SDC teams, to develop concepts and storyboards for videos. Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear during shoots. Edit video footage to create high-quality videos that meet our brand standards. Collaborate with the team to produce engaging video content for social media, websites, and other marketing channels. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and make recommendations for new approaches and tools to enhance our video production capabilities. Develop videos and edit graphics, multimedia and DVD authoring. Configure, maintain and troubleshoot video, audio, lighting and other production equipment. Create relevant content and professional video products for target audiences by making use of Multi- Camera and Audio mixing equipment and to produce video/documentaries that are edited digitally and streamed for variety of uses across various communication platforms. Edit video segments on a variety of digital formats using a variety of software products. Participate in the entire production process, from ideation and storyboarding to filming, editing, and postproduction. Work with clients to understand their requirements to produce great results. Provide technical skills and support in operating and maintaining proper levels and calibration of audio cameras, and other production equipment. Develop and maintain an appropriate logging system for all video products recorded/completed jobs. Troubleshoot problems/issues with the equipment, and/or repair the equipment used. Understanding of social media plaftorms and delivery formats.

National Diploma (NQF 6) in Journalism/ Digital Media/ Communication/ Media Studies/ Public Relations or equivalent
• 5 years’ relevant experience in Digital Media, of which 3 years must be at a supervisory capacity

Primary Function:
The primary objective of the Manager Digital Media is to provide comprehensive oversight of the company's various Digital communication platforms needs. This role involves overseeing the company’s interaction with customers through the development and implementation of effective digital media strategies, managing social media and website platform, and ensuring consistent messaging across different digital communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive Digital communication and website strategies and plans aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Stay updated on evolving issues and trends to identify opportunities and proactively engage with stakeholders and customers using digital media platforms. Create compelling content for press releases, social media platforms, websites, and other distribution channels. Ensure key messages are aligned with vital business strategies and effectively communicated to target audiences. Serve as the primary Digital media and website coordinator for the organization, fostering positive relationships with different stakeholders, influences, and managing inquiries on different social media timelines, conduct virtual press conferences, Live broadcasts, webinars, and other media events to effectively communicate important organizational announcements and messages. Oversee content creation across various Digital media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tiktok, Thread among others, ensuring consistency and brand alignment. Monitor digital media marketplace trends to stay informed and leverage emerging opportunities for effective social media communication campaigns. Track and analyse the performance of online and offline campaigns, providing comprehensive reports on results. Build and manage the organization's social media presence, engaging with followers and creating impactful content. Promote additional projects and initiatives to support new campaigns and enhance the company's overall visibility. Cultivate long-term relationships with social media influencers and key stakeholders to amplify the company's online reach and reputation. Develop engaging and relatable materials and digital products that resonate with the target audience, leveraging research insights. Manage research efforts related to content development, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and alignment with communication goals.
