DESIGNATION : SENIOR ADVISOR OPERATIONAL & PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT 
GROUP : LEGAL, RISK AND COMPLIANCE 
DEPARTMENT : ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT 
REPORTING TO : MANAGER: ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT 
 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
 National Diploma (NQF 6) in Enterprise Risk Management or equivalent 
 3 years’ experience in Enterprise Risk Management 
 
Added Advantage: 
 Bachelor's degree (NQF 7) 
 
Professional Body: 
 Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) added advantage 
 
Primary Function: 
Support Groups to apply risk management methodology within operational and project management. Manage the risk facilitation workshops, maintain group operational, and project risk registers.

Key Responsibilities: 
 Developing a programme of risk identification, analysis and evaluation. 
 Implement the Enterprise Risk Management plan 
 Ensure that the groups comply to the Enterprise risk management policy, standard, and methodologies (e.g. COSO frameworks and ISO 31000) 
 Facilitating and conducting risk assessments, at different levels within City Power especially projects and operational risk assessments 
 Updating of risk information in the risk management information system 
 Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the risk strategies and formulating alternative strategies where necessary. 
 Conducting risk maturity assessments within City Power to ensure growth 
 Continuous monitoring and review of risk in areas of responsibility and provide advice and influence to ensure improvement of quality. 
 Participating in enterprise risk management projects and initiatives to assess and advise on gaps with the group and respective business units 
 Contributing to the shaping of project risk management plans
