DESIGNATION: GM PROCESS ENGINEERING

REPORTING TO: CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER 
 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in IT/Computer Science/Commerce 
• 10 years’ experience of which 5 years must be in a management level; and 
• 3 years must be in the ICT professional discipline/ Energy industry 
 
Added Advantage 
• Honours Degree (NQF8) 
• Registrations with the Institute of Chartered IT Professionals or any related institution. 
 
Primary Function: 
The GM: Process Engineering has the responsibility for the process design, operation and implementation. Improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities: 
The General Manager: Process Engineering is responsible for Strategic and Functional Leadership and Direction of the Process Engineering Department. The General Manager: The General Manager: Process Engineering influences operational excellence, which includes directing a step change in performance and securing the current and future mandate to operate of the Process Engineering Department. The General Manager: Process Engineering must manage all of the Strategy and Planning of the Department .The General Manager: Process Engineering is responsible for Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Management of Process Engineering Department. The General Manager: Process Engineering leads the business by performing interested and affected party relationship management.
