ADVERTISEMENT FOR VARIOUS APPRENTICESHIPS FOR 2026

The City of Tshwane (Learning and Development Division) is an accredited training provider that offers a full apprenticeship programme in the following trades:
- Electrical (30) (Reference number: TLMA-E-2026)
- Welding (15) (Reference number: TLMA-W-2026)
- Vehicle mechanics (30) (Reference number: TLMA–V-2026)
- Boilermaking (15) (Reference number: TLMA-B-2026)
- Plumbing (15) (Reference number: TLMA-P-2025
- Fitting and turning (15) (Reference number: TLMA-F-2026)
Please note that you need to apply for each individual apprenticeship by using the relevant reference number indicated.
Stipend: R2 792,44 per month
What you need
You will need at least a technical matric, NCV Level 4 or N2 certificate with Mathematics, Science and relevant trade theory. Furthermore, you must be interested in becoming an artisan and have the necessary devotion and enthusiasm.
Reasonable accommodation, in line with the people with disabilities institutional threshold, and the inherent and physical requirements of the specific apprenticeship will be given to qualifying applicants with disabilities.
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals and women.
Candidates who have already acquired a trade certificate in any of the above-mentioned trades will not be considered.
NB: Applicants with fraudulent information and/or documents will be disqualified.

Tshwane Careers is also located under the e-Services link on the website. Proof of qualifications or any other relevant documents (certified copies or original documents) will be requested during the selection process.
