SENIOR SECRETARY 
DEPARTMENT: Group Corporate & Shared Services 
BRANCH: Group SHELA & FCM 
DESIGNATION: Senior Secretary 
REMUNERATION: R18 481,12 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits) 
LOCATION: Metropolitan Centre, 158 Civic Boulevard, Braamfontein 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12/NQF level 4; 
• Diploma in Secretarial/Office Administration or equivalent (NQF level 5); 
• 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience in document management/secretarial/administration; 
• Computer literacy in MS Office; 
• Good communication skills; 
• Valid driver’s license. 
 
Primary Function:
Performance and undertake tasks/activities associated with the management office of the Group Head and such units within the division. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Perform specific tasks/activities associated with the provision of a secretarial service to the Group Head; 
• Perform a receptionist/telephonist function at the office of the Group Head.

Primary Function:
Provision of comprehensive and effective fleet management services to core departments and entities. 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Provide excellent customer service to meet and exceed their customer’s requirements and KPIs; 
• Assess vehicle needs and utilization and advise user groups on implications and processes to follow. 
 
Leading Competencies:

Primary Function:
Perform administration tasks/activities associated with the provision of effective document and information management system, flow and management of correspondence, retrieval and filing of files and disposal of obsolete files in line with the relevant guidelines and legislation. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Implement and maintain operational procedures and systems associated with controlling the flow of functional documentation and correspondence and the daily supervision of Records offices; 
• Oversee the implementation of financial controls/procedures and provide information to support financial planning sequences; 
• Direct and control outcomes associated with the utilization, productivity, discipline and performance of personnel within the Records Section.

Key Performance Areas: 
• Execute Fleet Administration Management duties on behalf of the Unit Head; 
• Execute Fleet Support & Logistical Management duties on behalf of the Unit Head: 
• Execute Fleet Cost and Finance Management duties on behalf of the Unit Head: 
• Execute Fleet Risk & Liability Management duties on behalf of the Unit Head.
