BUDGET ANALYST 
Department: Group Finance 
Branch: Core Accounting- Core Budget 
Designation: Budget Analyst 
Remuneration: R24 119.71 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits) 
Location: 66 Jorissen Place, Braamfontein 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
• A Three (3) year diploma in Financial Accounting (NQF level 6). 
• 1 - 3 years in monitoring of financial statements analysis, experience in medium term budgeting. 
• Municipal decision making and financial information system would be an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of Financial management and accounting principles; Medium term budgeting and monitoring principles; Current financial regulations and procedures; Interpretation of financial data. 
• Advanced Excel experience. 
 
Primary Function:
Assess, interrogate and monitor budgets returns of Core Departments and Municipal Entities to ensure that budget are in line with the City Policies, guidelines and other applicable regulations and legislation. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Collate, facilitate and coordinate the administration of the budget input process to ensure a coordinated process for timeous submission.; 
• Collate, prepare and monitor budget reports. 
 
Leading Competencies:

• Good Information technology skills especially SAP system including good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

SERVICE CENTRE OFFICER

Designation: Service Centre Officer

Location: Metropolitan Centre, 158 Civic Boulevard, Braamfontein 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in Road Transport Management / Diploma in Public Management / Business Management at NQF level 6; 
• 1- 3 years relevant experience in fleet tracking management environment; 
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 
 
Primary Function: 
The provision of comprehensive and effective fleet management support service to fleet user’s departments and Entities. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Oversight monitoring of tracking management services to user department and entities; 
• Oversight monitoring of fuel management services to user department and entities; 
• Fleet management systems administrative support; 
• Provide oversight monitoring of monthly steering committee meetings. 
 
Leading Competencies: 
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to clearly communicate Information both verbally and writing; 
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities; 
• Familiarity with fleet management software and technologies; 
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
