EXECUTIVE SECRETARY: CITIZEN RELATIONSHIP & URBAN MANAGEMENT 
PERMANENT POSITION 
DEPARTMENT: Citizen Relationship and Urban Management (CRUM) 
BRANCH: Regional Director’s Office (Region G) 
DESIGNATION: Executive Secretary 
REMUNERATION: R421 841,74 pa (all-inclusive cost to company) 
LOCATION: Region G
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
• Grade 12 plus Secretarial Diploma/Office Administration (NQF 5/6); 
• 1 - 3 years’ relevant experience. 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To coordinate activities and requirements associated with the Regional Director through the application of administrative and secretarial procedures and the execution of sequence associated with the communication, planning, prioritization and organization of confidential and important appointments, events and meetings.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 
• Execute specific instructions and applying laid down procedures with respect to coordinating the Regional Director’s diary and events; 
• Perform tasks and associated with the provision of reception/telephonic and office support to the Regional Director; 
• Perform specific tasks and activities associated with the provision of Administration and Secretarial support; 
• Maintain Regional Director’s correspondence/information and record keeping system and accessing records of discussions, instructions and correspondence; 
• General administrative and events coordination functions. 
 
LEADING COMPETENCIES: 
• Thorough knowledge of responsibilities of an executive secretary; 
• Good knowledge of office management; 
• Ability to comprehend the varied activities of a large complex department sufficiently to handle the mass of items passing through the Regional Director’s office.

DESIGNATION: Operational Manager: Finance, Contracts, Assets & Supply Chain 
REMUNERATION: R498 358,40 (Annual Package) 
LOCATION: Roodepoort Civic Centre (Region C) 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12/NQF level 4 is required; 
• National Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Accounting Diploma or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Public Administration/equivalent NQF level 6; 
• 3 - 4 years’ work-related experience; 
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office: Outlook; 
• Preference will be given to applicants with SAP experience; 
• Good communication skills; and 
• Valid Code B driver’s license. 
 
Primary Function:
Implement financial controls and systems in the efficient procurement of goods and services in compliance with the City’s Supply Chain Management policies and maintain control over the Region’s movable assets as stipulated in the MFMA and control the Region’s office equipment and telecommunication contracts

• Implement CRUM’s Standard Operating Procedures and internal controls regarding procurement. 
• Manage the region’s movable assets. 
• Oversee the management of various telecommunication tasks/activities. 
• General office support. 
• Manage all contract and leases of the Region.
