Key Performance Areas: Plan and coordinate Health Promotion activities in the health facility. Create conducive environments that support healthy behaviour in the surrounding community. Facilitate the implementation of all priority health programmes. Facilitate the coordination and implementation of Advocacy and work in elaborate and Communication Strategy. Conduct targeted community mobilization. Provide support and technical assistance to the WBOT teams. Integrate health promotion into school health services and health promoting schools. Plan, coordinate and implement health promotion activities in support for disease outbreak response and intervention in collaboration with the sub-district outbreak response team. Plan and implement Health Promotion activities in health facility, surrounding communities and schools. Support and mobilise communities to practice healthy behaviour and provide information, education and communication (IEC) materials to support positive behaviour change within communities. Plan and implement activities that support Advocacy and Community Strategy and provide targeted community mobilization to specific groups. Support and work in collaboration with WBOT teams and other relevant stakeholder. Provide the technical and specialized support to all PHC facilities in compliance to EPR policies and guidelines. Responsible for implementation of data management processes, monitoring data quality and use of data.
 
Key Performance Areas: Co-ordinate the operations and activities of the EPI, EPR, Youth and Child Health Programmes in the PHC facilities. Responsible for achieving all SDP targets as set by City Joburg. Responsible for the prompt response to notifications and intervention of notifiable diseases within 3 days. Liaise with Environmental Health in terms of outbreak response, notifications of notifiable diseases awareness campaign.
