PERMANENT POSITION 
 
1. DEPARTMENT: Citizen Relationship and Urban Management 
BRANCH: Integrated Service Delivery 
DESIGNATION: Manager: Multi-Disciplinary Service Coordination & Solutions 
REMUNERATION: R681 662.09 (Annual Package) 
LOCATION: Region G CRUM Corobrick Building 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification e.g. Public Administration/Urban Management/NQF Level 7; 
• Must be able to demonstrate that he/she has acquired the necessary skills through experience to successfully carry out the requirements of this position; 
• 5 years’ experience in management, preferably with a good background in local government. 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIIONThe position will provide an efficient and effective Multi-disciplinary Coordination and Solution in the region by ensuring that an acceptable level of municipal services are rendered and to direct, manage and coordinate all administrative and operational activities thus ensuring that the department meets the goals and objectives of the Integrated Service Delivery Function in the Region
 
KEY PERFOMANNCE AREAS: 
• Render an effective and efficient Multi-Disciplinary Coordination Service and Solution. 
• Ensure that an acceptable level of municipal services is delivered in the Region. 
• Contribute to the compilation of a database of all relevant stakeholders in areas of responsibilities (including regular City users such as business, residents, hawkers, taxi’s etc.). 
• Direct and control the key performance indicators, deliverables and outcomes of direct reports within the department. 
• Implementation of financial controls/procedures and providing information to support financial planning processes. 
• Departmental performance management, reporting and people management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
• Grade 10/NQF level 2; 
• Must have a valid driver’s license with PDP (Public Driving Permit); 
• 1-year relevant experience. 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIIONRender an effective and efficient driver and internal and external Courier Service involving the transportation of equipment, material, documents and personnel by driving and safeguarding a Council leased motor vehicle in compliance with the City‘s vehicle utilization policies. 
 
KEY PERFOMANNCE AREAS: 
• Performs specific tasks/activities prior to and on completion of allocated assignments. 
• Complete internal transaction documentation (e.g. schedules, log sheet, progress report, overtime compliance etc.) and related forms (vehicles checklist). 
• Collect and deliver correspondence to and from various municipal facilities across the city. Transporting of goods and personnel. 
• Compliance with the City’s Fleet Policy. 
• Deliver documentation to various venues as well as organizations and companies with which the region conducts business, as directed. 
• Collect goods. 
• Attend to mail from the post office and deposits/payments. 
• Ensure that a council sponsored cellphone is available to receive calls. 
 
LEADING COMPETEMCIES: 
• Ability to work under pressure and overtime in order to meet deadlines.
