Minimum Requirements: 
  • Grade 12/NQF level 4 plus a Diploma (NQF level 6) in a Built Environment discipline (Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building) and Project Management Certificate or Degree in Administration/Management; 
  • 1 – 3 years relevant experience and the understanding of local government policies and procedures will be an added advantage;

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Grade 12/NQF level 4 plus an appropriate completed Diploma in Agriculture Studies, Environmental or equivalent related qualification from an accredited institution at NQF level 6; 
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in agriculture development or food security programmes; 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
 
Primary Function: 
Ensure that the urban agriculture program covers many areas in agricultural production systems, therefore theoretical agricultural background is necessary for the incumbent to have a clear understanding of different agricultural production systems.

  • Ensure the profiling/assessment of identified households;

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Grade 12/NQF level 4 plus BCompt/BCom (Accounting Science) degree with completed articles plus 3 - 4 years post articles; 
  • 6 - 8 years’ experience in the compilation, analysis and interpretation of financial statements And or relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting in either public or private sector; 
  • 2 – 3 years /managerial experience in the compilation and BCompt (Honours), or BCom Honours degree in Accounting Science, CA (SA), AGA (SA) ACCA, CIMA, professional Accounting / finance qualification will be preferred; 
  • Experience in Financial reporting software/system;

Primary Function:
Provide technical advisory services and oversight to the municipality and municipal entities on accounting and financial reporting matters including analysis of the City’s consolidated financial information that promote compliance with the provisions of MFMA and related norms and standards. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
  • Technical Advisory services; 
  • Management functions policies and procedures such as year-end and interim consolidated reporting processes; 
  • Ensure that consolidated annual financial statements are produced and reported; 
  • Ensure that monthly management accounts are produced and reported; 
  • Ensure that all inter/intra company transaction and balances are confirmed on a monthly basis; 
  • Management of the years end audit process;

Primary Function:
Responsible for the activities in the areas of operations and delivery of production, data control, operations, and operations support for the Data Centre Environments of the City. Develop and implement Data Centre and Server management-related standards, procedures, and processes for GICT&IM. Plan and manage the support of new technologies, data centre performance and reliability. Responsible for the overall enterprise-wide effectiveness and efficiency of Data Centre technology and related systems and server management-related solutions in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained. Lead the refresh, and migration to new technologies, evaluate processing performance relating to machine utilization and reliability, and forecast capacity, physical and resource needs of the Data Centre and server management requirements to meet established objectives. Operate, support and coordinate Data Centre and server management-related operations, business continuance and restoration plan that isolate problems and implement pre-planned alternative routes or systems to restore service. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
  • Manage troubleshooting and maintenance support services to the data Centre within the City of Johannesburg and Collaboration environment;
