REMUNERATION: R24 119,71 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 or equivalent/NQF level 4; 
• Diploma as Examiner of Driver licenses; 
• Registered as an Examiner for Driver’s Licenses Grade A; 
• 3 years’ relevant experience with no previous convictions; 
• Valid code EC ad A driver’s licenses. 
 
Primary Function
Provide information to the public, attend to queries, and assist members of public. Assume duties and responsibilities in terms of the Road Traffic Act. Assure maintenance of high standards of work in terms of quality and quantity and test applicants for all codes of driver’s licenses. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Take responsibility for the full activity of learners/applicant relating to the learner license; 
• Test applicants for driver’s license according to the national Road Traffic Act and K53. 
 
Leading Competencies: 
• Computer literacy including MS Office Applications; 
• Accountability; 
• High level of confidentiality and organizational skills; 
• Time Management, working independently, under pressure and ability to prioritize. 
 
Core Competencies: 
• Collaborative/Teamwork, Values and Integrity, Attention to detail and quality focused; 
• Customer and Service Delivery Management (Batho Pele) Ethics, Professionalism; 
• Impact and Influence according to City’s protocols, Legislation, and standards.

• Execute all the necessary practical activities relating to the application and issuing of vehicle certificates and permits; 
• Deal with all administrative matters that involve the incumbent. 
 
Leading Competencies: 
• Computer literacy including MS Office Applications; 
• Accountability; 
• High level of confidentiality and organizational skills; 
• Time Management, working independently, under pressure and ability to prioritize.

REMUNERATION: R29 850, 81 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 plus National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6; 
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in the relevant field; 
• Valid Driver’s license; 
• No criminal record. 
 
Primary Function:
Manage the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the processes and outcomes associated with plans and procedural application designed to accomplish key service delivery objectives with respect to the provision of fines administration, prosecution and adjudication services, related to traffic infringements and By-Law citations, through the coordination of operations and quality systems in accordance with relevant legislative prescripts. 
 
Key Performance Areas: 
• Manage, implement and control the Key Performance Indicators (KPAs) and outcomes of personnel within the Fines Administration (Prosecutions) section for the purpose of effectiveness and efficiency of the Section; 
• Implement procedures, systems and control to regulate specific work sequences associated with the functionality; 
• Identify underperforming employees, investigate the cause of such, establish training needs or refer to Employee Assistance Programme where necessary; 
• Manage the assets of the section; 
• Manage all administrative matters and execute functions.
