Minimum Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Finance or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Execute and contribute to the effective control and coordination of financial and accounting activities within the sundry debtors section, in alignment with the financial strategy and supervise the functioning of subordinates
  • Verify correctness of billed accounts per billing cycle for submission to printers to ensure that the clients are billed correctly and timeously
  • Analyse and reconcile debtor accounts by making use of system reports and excel spreadsheets in order to verify and rectify any discrepancies
  • Implement Council Resolutions and Agreements in respect of sundry debtors to maintain collections of the section and Department at large
  • Apply credit control policy in respect of sundry debtor accounts to ensure that outstanding debt is recovered optimally and in line with CoE Credit Control and Debt Collection policy
  • Administer salary deductions with regard to all loans and sundry accounts to recover monies that are owed by Council employees
  • Reconcile vote ledger with regard to debtors accounts and compile debtor balance certificate with regard to sundry debtors votes to ensure accuracy of accounts
  • Provide financial information in respect of proprietary right transactions to Council appointed Attorneys in order for transfer to commence
  • Perform general office duties to ensure the optimal operation of the section

  • Responsible for maintenance and safekeeping of equipment
  • Loading of branches, garden refuse and rubble
  • Execute instruction regarding herbicide and pesticide
  • Cleaning/ weeding of flowerbeds
  • Planting of trees and pruning of shrubs
  • Digging and filling of graves for new, reserved, exhumations and second/ third Internments that may include the utilisation of jack hammer
  • Any other work-related tasks given by the supervisor

Core Responsibilities:
 
• Delivery Tracking:
• Use the Delivery Partner app to accept, track, and complete deliveries.
• Update the status of deliveries in real-time, ensuring customers and restaurants are informed of any delays or changes.
Time Management:
Compliance with Safety Regulations:
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
Equipment Care:
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle (motorbike) and delivery gear.
• Cash Handling and Payment Processing:
Professional Appearance:
• Wear branded uniforms provided by the Delivery Partner and maintain a neat and clean appearance throughout the shift.
Reporting and Feedback:
• Submit daily reports on deliveries completed, including any issues encountered during the shift.
Adherence to Company Policies:
• Attend any scheduled training sessions or meetings to stay updated on company policies and operational changes.
• Basic Maintenance and Refueling:
• Perform basic maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels) and report any technical issues to the appropriate department
