• Drive and aligned customer service excellence culture that builds relationships and proposes innovation

Core Responsibilities:

• To communicate and implement a meaningful strategic context that guides and directs best practice, integration, process alignment and service delivery
• To ensure effective and efficient rendering of municipal and environmental health services within the municipality in order safeguards public health through planned, coordinated, controlled and supervised activities
• To ensure compliance to policies, guidelines, standard operational procedures and legislative requirements of the employer and statutory bodies and to minimize the risks in the municipality
• To ensure the integrity and effective administration of financial risks management processes and to ensure compliance with national treasury regulations and legislative prescripts

Core Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and financial reports in accordance with statutory and council requirements.
• Compilation of supplementary budgets
• Preparing documents for adjustment budgets
• Review and implement various cost accounting principles to ensure effective cost accuracy
• Managing internal costing and administration
• Work with revenue team in developing and implementing revenue management initiatives
