​Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Parks & Recreation or National Diploma in Horticulture
  • Computer literacy skills
  • Code C1 Valid Drivers' Licence
  • 3 - 5 years' relevant experience
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Determine researching methods and procedures to enhance service delivery
  • Seasonal preparation of turf grass, hard court and other sports facilities.
  • Responsible for chemical applications.
  • Ensure all sports fields meet the required standards according to difference sports codes.
  • Ensure effective and efficient smooth running of the sub-sections.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements.
  • Ensure fair labour practice and compliance with all relevant statutory requirements
