- Rendering financial support to the accountant & other officials during the compilation of the annual & adjustment budget & other budget related matters during the year.

- Assist with updating of departmental financial reporting templates.
- Attend meetings & workshops as per instructions from senior management.
- Ensure completed work adhere to governance & legislative requirements.

- Perform movable assets verification process within prescribed policies & procedures
- Coordinate obsolete asset process.

• Lead the City's process for the compilation of the annual financial statements and group financial statements

- Oversee the planning and implementation of the maintenance of the Waste Management Facilities or external service providers.

- Manage the risk and governance contract management by ensuring expired contracts are renewed timeously.
