Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
- Valid Driver's license
- 2- 5 years' extensive experience in change management with a proven track record in effective change management
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement change management approaches, processes and models to improve the overall effectiveness of change within the organisation and interacts and clearly communicate with various stakeholders on the changes within the organisation
- Implement change management processes so that transformation and change management takes place in the CoE resulting in values and ethics which support the vision of the organisation
- Develop capacity for change and regeneration so that employees have the necessary skills to deal with change
- Become pro-active as a catalyst and guardian of culture to create harmony in the work place
- Implement governance and risk management strategies to ensure effective implementation of Council resolutions with regard to risk
- Contribute to a customer service orientated culture to ensure rewarding relationships and to allow others to provide exceptional customer services

Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor Degree in Labour Law / Labour Relations or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7
- 5 years relevant experience
- A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all consultative structures within the Council in order to ensure that there is a link between such structures and the LLF to ensure effective and efficient smooth running of consultative structures within Council
- Provide technical advice to stakeholders in the Council, in order to enforce compliance to labour legislation, collective agreements, policies, procedures and Council resolutions
- Attend to the maintenance of formal disciplinary / meetings in the Council to ensure proper and fair procedure
- Represent the employer in employment disputes at the SALGBC, CCMA and Labour Court to ensure that disputes are resolved in the best interest of the Council
- Implement disciplinary / grievance outcomes, arbitration awards and Labour court judgements / orders to ensure good governance
- Promote awareness of Council policies, procedures, orders and regulations by communicating them to the workforce to ensure adherence to policies and procedures of Council
- Maintain good relations with organised labour unions within the Council to ensure promotion of sound and healthy relations
- Compile reports and keep statistics on labour relations activities to ensure good governance
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure the relevance of policies in the changing environment
- Maintain and monitor employee relations strategies within Council to ensure continuous sound relations and good governance
