​MODERATOR: OCCUPATIONAL ELECTRICIAN PROGRAMME
 
Requirements
  1. A qualified Electrician with red seal (Trade Test)
  2. Registered as an Assessor and Moderator with MERSETA
TVET sector experience
  1. Must be able to Moderate Occupational Certificate: Electrician Knowledge, Practical and Workplace Modules
  2. Minimum 2 years’ Moderation experience
  3. Valid driver’s license
 
Responsibilities
  1. Moderation of the Occupational Certificate: Electrician
  2. Ensuring compliance with Boland College moderation policy and QCTO requirements.
  3. Preparation of files for external moderation (verification)
  4. Provide detailed feedback to assessors and recommend areas for improvement
  5. Compile comprehensive moderation reports for submission to the relevant SETA and QCTO
  6. Assist with monitoring the student’s logbooks are in line with QCTO requirements
 
Recommendations
1. Knowledge and experience of the Occupational Programme will be an added advantage
2. QCTO moderation experience will be an added advantage
3. Computer literacy in MS Office
