SPECIALIST: JOINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
 
In this position you will ensure the Human Resources Management team is aligned and has a clear understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Environmental (EMS) and Quality (QMS) Management System at BMW Plant Rosslyn
 
You will be expected to continuously steer the following processes for the Human Resources and Facilities Management departments:
·       Change Management process.
·       Contractor Management process.
·       Review and updating of Joint Management System documents.
 
You will be expected to support the Human Resources and Facilities Management departments with regards to:
·       Stakeholder identification and engagement.
·       OHS, EMS and QMS training requirement identification.
·       Incident Investigations.
·       Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments.
·       Ergonomic Assessments. 
·       Identification of physical, chemical, and biological stressors that requires monitoring by an AIA.
·       Initiatives to improve the Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
·       The Identification of Improvement Opportunities, Corrective Measures and Preventative Measures.
 
You will be expected to perform the following functions for the Human Resources and Facilities Management departments:
·       Booking and follow up of OHS, EMS and QMS training sessions.
·       Facilitate training session specific to the BMW SA OHS, EMS and QMS system.
·       Maintain legal and system appointment letters as current.
·       Conduct Internal Audits (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001).
·       Conduct Contractor/Service Provider Audits.
·       Present to management status of OHS, EMS and QMS related topics and targets.
 
Qualifications:
·       SAMTRAC/SHEQMAN/Modern SHEQ Management
·       In Depth OHS Act and Regulations
·       HIRA and RCAT
·       Ergonomic Facilitator and Occupational Hygiene Principles
·       Implementation and Internal Auditor: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
·       Facilitator and Assessor
·       Microsoft Office
·       At least 3 years’ experience in Joint Management Systems administration.
At least 3 years working experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis and risk assessment.

  •  Support in F1-F2 locating and tracking during G45 NSG build on site in assembly. Managing all internal requests from internal users. Reporting needs to be performed to provide transparency (in for example the Einsteuerrunde).
  • Support in F2-AV tracking during G45 NSG build as well as practical steering of any scrapping processes.
  • Support in organising Senator packaging- and NSG flight processes (new to plant in ItO phase).
  • Support in the documentation of daily NSG build related steering meetings.
  • Support and prepare ad-hoc activities/ visits when requested.
  •  Daily status reports for F1-F2 and AV status to be compiled.

HEAD OF BMW MOTORRAD SOUTH AFRICA
 
This position is responsible for developing the motorcycle business in South Africa by utilizing all levers of BMW Motorrad Sales functions (Sales, Marketing, Dealer Development, After-Sales Service and P&A) based on the defined BMW Motorrad central strategy, BMW Group central and local standards, processes and guidelines. Ensuring the fulfilment of overall objectives in terms of volume, profitability, communication, brand awareness and customer satisfaction. Together with making sure that the BMW Motorrad business unit is fully integrated into the organization
 
Amongst other things, the successful incumbent will be accountable for the following:-
Develop and manage all BMW Motorrad functions within the NSC: After sales, Marketing, Sales, and Dealer Development.
Ensures product availability, visibility, market acceptance, distribution, and promotion.
Directs the development of objectives, policies, and operating plans for the motorcycle unit with an understanding of the long-term objectives of  BMW Motorrad and the market.
Develops action plans based on defined business and sales strategies; defines and steers the yearly budget planning.
 Drives the development of the Long-Range Plan (LUP) for the long-term development and growth of the BMW Motorrad business in the market. Periodically presents and discusses the LUP with the International network and the Product Committee of BMW Motorrad.  
 Analyses the operating results, forecasts, and industry results of BMW Motorrad for an appropriate target setting.
 Directs and implements appropriate actions to ensure that the yearly objectives are achieved.
 Represents the interests of BMW Motorrad and liaises with statutory and regulatory agencies, governments, and other official institutions.
 Deploys & coordinates the planning of the BMW Motorrad strategy and products in the market in close cooperation and agreement with the       international network and the various departments within the NSC based on past performance and market trends.
 Promotes cross-functional interaction & synergies within the NSC, especially on motorcycle related & brand image topics.
 Represents BMW Motorrad in its relationships with customers, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, professional organizations, and similar   groups.
Oversees the market dealer network development, focusing on building strong, long lasting & mutual beneficial business partnerships to implement the set targets and strategic objectives. 
Establishment of dealer performance monitoring for target achievement and dealer steering
 
Qualifications:
Minimum of Business Administration or Management or Industrial Engineering degree from a recognized University.
Extensive managerial and leadership experience (preferably within a multinational company).
Marketing and sales generalist experience with good product knowledge and affinity.
Extensive experience in the motorcycle and/or automotive industry (sales, marketing).
Sound knowledge of the motorcycle market, products, competition, sales management, marketing, after sales, procedures, finance, taxation, legal and economic matters.
Knowledge of the central processes at BMW Motorrad (Budget / Forecast, Ordering / Volume Planning, Financial planning) and BMW Group committees is beneficial.
Strategic, structural, and abstract thinker, with a problem-solving orientation.
Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, work-intensive environment.
