CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 04 POSITIONS AT THE SUPPLIER PARK DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (AIDC)


The Supplier Park Development Company (SOC) Ltd trading as AIDC is a Government owned, public entity company established to provide support to the SA Automotive Industry in its drive for global competitiveness. The AIDC is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate/s to be appointed into the following four (4) vacant positions.

1. POSITION:  Hub Manager: Township Automotive Hub 
PERIOD:  Permanent 
LOCATION:  Rosslyn 
ADVERT REF NO:  2019/04 
DEPARTMENT:  Township Automotive Hubs (TAH) 
TCOE:  R 555 436.80 p.a

Purpose of Position 
To plan, direct, organize and control the Automotive Hub in accordance with the Hub’s strategy, through effective management of projects, finances, human resources, and stakeholder (including lending institutions) relationships. Interacting and communicating with relevant stakeholders at all levels, (private and public sector). The extended responsibility of directing, guiding and advising the existing Motor Body Repairer SMME’s (in Winterveld/Mogale City or other sites) that are affiliated to the Hub to further improve their turnover and profitability. Further to this the incumbent will also ensure that the Hub is sustainable and meet Government objectives. The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager: TAH.
 
 
 
2. POSITION:  2X Junior Accountants 
PERIOD:  Permanent 
LOCATION:  Automotive Supplier Park, Rosslyn

DEPARTMENT: Finance 
TCOE:  R 295 827.48 p.a 
 
Purpose of Position 
Perform routine accounting functions such as processing of invoices; journals and completion of statutory returns; reconciling debtors/creditors; bank account capturing and reconciliations; debtors age analyses and Balance Sheet; preparing financial reports; monitoring purchase orders; assist with procurement information reporting; updating asset register and preparing for audits. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Accountant.

3. POSITION:  Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator 
PERIOD:  Permanent 
LOCATION:  Automotive Supplier Park, Rosslyn

DEPARTMENT:  Operations: SHEQ 
TCOE:  R 268 084.22 p.a 
 
Purpose of Position 
Responsible for ensuring proper administration, coordination of SHEQ functions; and compliance; enforcement of the environmental management systems, policies and plans. Conducts Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and site Environmental Management Plans (EMP) of the Automotive Supplier Park (ASP) and all other facilities managed by the company. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: SHEQ.
