• Coordinate the development of employee competencies to be in line with the MQF within the centre
Financial Management
• Manage and report on the centre budget in accordance with the approved finance policies
Ad hoc projects
• Perform all BUL’s projects as and when required
Skills, Experience & Education
Bachelors Honours Degree in business management, commerce, Risk Management or equivalent qualification
Knowledge
ISO31000, COSO, and CISA framework
Experience
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, assurance and internal controls. Preferably 5 year experience in a middle management level

Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Function
- Provide support to the Executive Committee, Chief financial officer, Business unit leader (BUL): Finance, Deputy business unit leader (DBUL) : Finance and Resource management unit.
- Provide support to the BUL: Finance and/or DBUL: Finance in preparing the organisations long term funding plan and development of models.
- Responsible for developing and managing strategies, operations and policies related to the financial accounting function, including cash flow management
- Analysis of finances and development of strategies, long and medium term plans to enhance efficiencies and cost reductions
