Job Description:
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
- Act as a role model and reinforce a workplace culture where safety and health for the site is paramount.
- Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid these risks.
- Perform daily planning of activities and tasks to ensure timeous completion of tasks according to unit specific procedures.
- Verification of client’s documentation such as medical booking slip and ID.
- Registration of clients for medical surveillance.
- Printing of road maps for clients.
- Scanning and attaching of client information onto electronic client files.
- Check stock and order sundries in the RFA test area.
- Files correspondence, documents, reports and any other relevant documentation and maintains an effective filing system according to the department’s departmental procedure.
- Completes forms in terms of the background of the client on prescribed forms and forwards such forms to the relevant Occupational Therapist/operator who returns the forms to the incumbent once the test has been completed in order to capture results on the relevant database.
- Assisting with client queries.
- Captures client information and results on the RFA software system for rehabilitation, functional- and physical work capacity.
- Registrations, processing of data tasks also related to Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with conducting the prescribed work conditioning and rehabilitation programs, by monitoring clients during sessions.
- Acts as translator between the client and other RFA personnel where possible / necessary.
This role is in the Safety, Health & Asset Reliability department at a Band 8 level reporting to the Senior Professional Nurse
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
Experience
- 1 years’ experience in similar role
- Knowledge of operational processes within scope of role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in organisation and time management skills

Job Description:
The Vendor Master Data Analyst ensures effective service delivery to the Business Units against pre-defined criteria generally referred to as Key Performance Indicators as defined in Service Level Agreements with various Business Units.
More of your duties will include:
- Verify and approve all new requests/changes to the agreed business processes and policies whilst maintaining high levels of understanding, quality and accuracy
- Apply extensive scrutiny over documentation and raise concern to the team and the supervisor
- Process review and alignment
- Analyses the downstream impacts of all master data changes, including integration points with other data domains and impact to business processes.
- Provides suggestions to continuously improve master data management processes and standard methodologies to support evolving business requirements
- Assist Supervisor with reporting, planning, escalations, and investigation within the VMD area
- Able to perform effective root cause analysis and contribute to improving controls and process effectiveness
- Operate in a cost-effective manner, ensuring accurate checks and validations are completed (e, g ensuring correct banking details are captured) to avoid cost implications)
- Collaboration within the wider Accounting Services and Supply chain to build capacity and relations
- Assist supervisor in attending meetings and key responsibilities and decision when not available
- Train master data team on new systems, enhancements and ensures system reliability
- Troubleshoots non-routine requests, proposes solutions, and supports the implementation of solutions.
- Analyses performance measurements and provide input into resolving obstacles to meeting team SLAs
- Participate as Superuser in the design, Implementation and UAT testing of new projects, processes and improvements to the systems that impacts master data
- Leading mini projects within the VMD department
- Work within policies, processes and systems and advise your leader of any issues which impede your, or the team’s performance
This role is at a Band 7 level reporting to VMD Supervisor
Qualifications:
- BCom Degree /National Diploma in Accounting
- SAP training
Experience required:
- 3- 4 years’ experience:
- SAP S4Hana / SAP MDM (Master Data Management)
- Intermediate /Advanced Excel
- Winshuttle (Tool to upload bulk data)
- Data Analysis Skills
