The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise architecture and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Lead, define, plan, develop and monitor the cargo strategy aligned to ACSA network strategy and ultimately the overarching ACSA strategy.

  • Developing a cargo business model for ACSA network, this should consider and entail but not limited to Operating model, Business model, Benchmarking, Commodities assessment, e-Commerce, Market research and analysis, Human resource implications, Financial implications, Migration plans from current to new infrastructure, Technology and digitalization, Cargo infrastructure current and new including specialized cargo handling facilities Security, associated regulations to be considered, Stakeholder engagements and Key performance indicators
  • Review and develop an implementation plan for all cargo strategy initiatives (as-is assessment) but not limited to Business Development, Commercial, Infrastructure (including Mid-Field Cargo Terminal), Operational Efficiency, Data Collation and Security/IT Systems
  • Migration from existing facilities to new Future use and/or repurpose of existing facility for cargo operations and how this may operate in tandem with the new facility
  • Operability of the new terminal including an operations plan this must include amongst other airside access, operations and security plan, landside access, operations and security plan, and cargo terminal access, operations and security plan.
  • Develop key performance indicators that cover all phases of the project to operationalization
  • Manage the provision of improved infrastructure and efficient operational processes to benefit tenants in the cargo precinct
  • Maximize revenue growth and commercial opportunities and support future sustainability of ACSA.
