Job Description
 
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Services, will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide input into the integrated Communications strategy, objectives, principles and implementation plans.
  • Implement an internal communications review process (assess impact and engagement) and ensure compliance across the business.
  • Manage all internal communication platforms and innovate to introduce new and viable improved platforms.
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies and plans focused on corporate priorities and goals. Responsible for driving and sustaining messages and coordinating with Corporate Affairs Business Partners across the organisation.
  • Manage communication channels and ensure maintenance thereof – e.g. ACSA Website, etc.
  • Create and establish platforms for improved engagement with stakeholders.
  • Deploy and embed brand within the organisation, creating a culture that instils a sense of pride among employees, in working for and a desire to be brand ambassadors for the organisation 
  • Provide internal communications for projects that impact the organisation ensuring minimal business disruptions.
  • Develops communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, Zoom and other platforms, town halls, small group meetings, etc.) to articulate key message.
  • Act as a single point of contact and custodian of corporate information, coordinating closely with Business
  • Define feedback system to manage evaluation of communications effectiveness. Be agile in delivering internal communications.
  • Helps create a best-in-class internal communications function across the organisation that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all offices
  • Assists in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment, Professional Development, Human Resources and other programmes and initiatives in support of ACSA’s goals and culture.
  • Works with appropriate personnel to create and maintain content for employee communication channels, and partners with the broader Communications and IT teams to explores/recommends new channels or technologies where possible.
  • Provide support to the broader communications team at all times as internal communications is one pillar of the broader Communications strategy.
  • Provide input into operational budget, monitor and conduct forecasting.
  • Manage and monitor the communications budget as well as any service providers in the communications space to secure a clean audit.
  • Support and collaborate with the broader Corporate Services team across various projects.
  • Develop project - specific plans when required and support implementation.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.   
  • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Identify potential reputation and brand risks and make recommendations for remedial action. 
  • Ensure adherence to corporate branding requirements.
  • Compile and submit relevant reports both monthly and quarterly or as and when required by the Senior Manager Corporate Services.
  • Supervise and monitor service provider according to contract requirements. Draft terms of Reference and support the procurement and contracts management processes.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 
  • A Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations is essential
  • Post Graduate Degree in Communications is preferable
  • 3 to 5 year’s operational experience in Public Relations or Communications or any other relevant experience.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Senior Terminal Operations Coordinator and will be responsible for but not limited to the following. 
  • Facilitate and regulate capacity for each process and highlight any pressure points in terms of passenger flow. 
  • Provide view and make recommendations in terms of impact and availability of infrastructure across all operational areas. 
  • Monitoring construction activities and the impact thereof on operational requirements, safety standards, security standards and service levels.
  • Provide and utilize available information to improve process and system efficiency.
  • Strive for continuous improvement with respect to the end-to-end process on behalf of operations. 
  • Plan, schedule and supervise / co-ordinate subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
  • Report on operational performance and highlighting areas of material variances
  • Provide detailed incident reports as required in terms of ACSA policies and procedures
  • Coordinate resources to ensure maximum resource availability (resource uptime) and most effective allocation and co-ordination of resources.
  • Identify cost-saving initiatives within area of control.

  • Relevant Degree is Recommended
  • Certificate in Airport Operations Recommended.
  • 4 years Airport Operational Experience or Operational Equivalent is Essential.

The successful candidates will be reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Provide technical and professional support and expertise by assessing and analysing the required problems or needs in order to propose optimal technical solutions and recommendations for ACSA’s airports Compile feasibility studies. 
  • Conduct critical assessment of ACSA’s maturity in order to propose relevant solution / recommendation. Adhere and comply to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, policies, SOP's, operational standards and practices.
  • Develop engineering brief (scoping, technical specification, standards). 
  • Provide continuous technical support, auditing for the life cycle of the project and conduct post implementation audits. 
  • Provide input into contract specifications. 
  • Generate technical and operational specifications to support tender and request for proposals. 
  • Ensure effective and compliant contract management and that work is executed in accordance with contract (time frame, SLA, Scope, quality, budget, contractors). 
  • Perform quality inspection on work done and implement/propose remedial action where necessary.
  • Determine, as part of cross-functional team, evaluation criteria and participate in evaluation and award of bids / tenders received. 
  • Conduct an assessment on project pre-feasibility, strategic value and importance and related risk analysis as an input into project prioritization. 
  • Mobilise project team, develop a Work Breakdown Structure and request a provisional team schedule from the PMO.
  • Manage the development of a detailed project plan by consolidating the project requirements, considering costs and expenditures and expected timescales.
