Job Description
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Supervisor IMC and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreements
- Close out all completed maintenance activities (including outage) and update the system accordingly.
- Ensure system integrity and accuracy of information.
- Coordinate the execution and follow through of unplanned emergencies until resolved and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
- Monitor progress to ensure on-time performance of unplanned maintenance activities.
- Compile and submit shift reports.
- Ensure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.
- Monitor the technical systems and handle faults and alarms accordingly.
- Ensure all stakeholders are allocated with reference numbers for future progress tracking purposes.
- Ensure effective and timeous maintenance follow up and solicit feedback to all stakeholders and update relevant system accordingly.
- Perform first line diagnostic or trouble shooting of technical faults in conjunction with technicians and operators.
- Communicate unplanned maintenance and provide feedback to operations, engineering and airport users
- Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering is essential.
- 3 years’ Technical operational experience is essential.
- Valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office/ eAM/ Oracle/ SAP PM.

Job Description
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Manager: Car Park and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Conduct audits, report on deviations and follow up to ensure remedial actions have been implemented.
- Daily inspections and monitoring of availability and functionality of Landside building infrastructure (QMS).
- Detect and proactively monitor events in collaboration with other departments and report on deviations.
- Monitor process and system efficiency within Landside operations (through put and dwell time) and recommend/implement remedial action where needed.
- Investigate escalated customer queries and provide feedback to customer service.
- Respond to accidents and incidents within the Landside environment.
- Conduct routinely walkabouts of the entire Landside.
- Monitor and manage shuttle service to ensure on time arrivals, cleanliness, acceptable drivers conduct and compliance of buses (operating permits)
- Facilitation of VIP as and when required.
- Assist with the permit process (diplomats and VIP’s) where applicable.
- Assist manager with Landside project activities.
- Record keeping of any incidents and accidents within the Landside environment.
- Compile daily reconciliation reports.
- Provide input into monthly departmental management reports.
- Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Ensure external Stakeholder compliance to relevant legislative requirements, SOP’s, operational standards and policies and practices. Take remedial action in case of non-compliance.
- Liaison with safety department to ensure safety compliance with regards to any works on the Landside.
- Participate in pre-audit process to minimise final audit findings.
- Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment.
- Ensure that work is executed in accordance with contract (time frame, SLA, scope, quality).
- Management of contractors and service providers through applicable conditions of contract.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills & experience is required or equivalent of such is required:
- Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Commercial or Business Management is essential.
- 2 years Public Management operational experience is essential
- 1 year Operations Supervisory experience is essential
- Code-B motor vehicle licence
- Intermediate proficiency of MS Office packages

- Participate in root cause analysis.
- Complete defined audits, monitor processes and adherence to standards.

- Assist artisan with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
- Manage work areas and keep work areas clean and free from debris (workshops/substations/etc.)
- Give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
