Job Description
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the IMC Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
  • Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreements
  • Close out all completed maintenance activities (including outage) and update the system accordingly.
  • Ensure system integrity and accuracy of information.
  • Coordinate the execution and follow through of unplanned emergencies until resolved and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Monitor progress to ensure on-time performance of unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Compile and submit shift reports.
  • Ensure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.
  • Monitor the technical systems and handle faults and alarms accordingly.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are allocated with reference numbers for future progress tracking purposes.
  • Perform first line diagnostic or trouble shooting of technical faults in conjunction with technicians and operators.
  • Communicate unplanned maintenance and provide feedback to operations, engineering and airport users.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
  • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • National certificate in Technical, Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
  • A code 8 driver’s license with driving experience is essential.
  • 3 years’ technical operations experience is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A trade test completion is recommended.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Rewards and Governance Specialist, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Conduct preliminary market analysis and prepare comparison reports for review. 
  • Administer salary surveys and compile data for the specialist’s analysis. 
  • Assist in developing and executing communication strategies for stakeholders on ACSA's reward offerings ensuring clarity and transparency. 
  • Provide support in preparing regular updates and reports on reward and governance initiatives. 
  • Assist in gathering and analysing data to support the development of reward strategies. 
  • Provide recommendations for reward programs under the guidance of the specialist. 
  • Assist in collecting and analysing HR data to inform rewards and governance decisions.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.
  • Assist in conducting job evaluations to determine the relative value of positions. 
  • Prepare evaluation reports and recommendations for job classification and compensation adjustments 
  • Assist in programme administration and coordination. 
  • Prepare and distribute communication related to ACSA recognition programmes and provide support with employee engagements. 
  • Collect and compile programme data, providing accurate reports to the Rewards and Governance Specialist. 
  • Identify trends and provide insights based on collected data to support program improvements. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries about the recognition program. 
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the recognition programmes’ administration. 
  • Ensure that all program-related documents are up-to-date, organised, and compliant with company policies. 
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (3 years – 360 credits NQF 7) in Accounting/HR Management/Industrial Psychology is essential.
  • 6 to 8 years operational experience in Reward Administrator essential.
  • Certificate in Global Remuneration Practitioner (recommended)
  • Reward Analyst (South African Reward Association) (recommended) 
  • Microsoft Office at Advanced level.
  • Code B; Motor vehicle licence is essential

The successful candidate will be reporting to Benefits Specialist, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Assist in conducting benefits research and benchmarking, ensuring that the organisation is offering competitive benefits. 
  • Provide advice and facilitate the day to day operation of the ACSA benefits and ensure compliance to legislation and regulations.

Job Description
An exciting vacancy exists at King Shaka International Airport for an experienced Senior Technician Mechanical Maintenance Grade within the Operations Management division.
 
Key Performance Output 
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Mechanical Maintenance and will be responsible for but not limited to the following: 
  • Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programme and execution thereof. 
  • Utilisation of relevant software system. 
  • Participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis
  • Assist with first line diagnostic, troubleshooting of technical faults
  • Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure
  • Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets
  • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices

Technical Skills and Experience

  • 5 years operational experience in Infrastructure Maintenance is essential.  
  • ECSA registration is recommended. 
  • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office, SCADA and PLC required.
  • Valid Code B drivers licence is required.
