Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
Purpose:
To carry out quality assurance processes and procedures in the Quality Department of Agrément South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Processes
- Contribute to defining, investigating, and analyzing quality assurance problems, leading to an agreed definition of the problem to be addressed
- Participate in designing or developing solutions to quality assurance problems
- Comprehend and apply advanced knowledge in quality assurance activities
- Perform quality assurance activities as assigned by the group leader
- Communicate clearly within the unit and with others on quality assurance activities
- Address the reasonably foreseeable social, cultural, and environmental effects of quality assurance activities as the group leader instructs
- Contribute to meeting all legal and regulatory requirements and protect a person's health and safety during his or her quality assurance activities
- Conduct all quality assurance activities ethically
- Apply sound judgment during quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to making decisions on all quality assurance activities
- Adhere to Agrément ’s core process Policy, Procedures, and Standards by undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance competence in quality assurance
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the client, employee, and quality assurance records and documents
- Write annual quality assurance audit reports, investigation reports, and licensee audit reports and maintain supporting documentation
- Ensure all non-compliances are closed within the agreed time
- Generate a non-compliance report database
- Promote a culture of excellence in applying Quality Assurance in the Technical Division
- Ensure the implementation of risk management policies and procedures for functions
Quality Assurance Verification
Perform and coordinate quality assurance audit as part of the certification/recertification process by:
- Carrying out factory, site, and licensee audits
- Carry out the investigation to find the root cause of the problem
- Analyze and interpret the amendment/update impact on certification requirements and Issue non-compliance notices where applicable
- Perform review/acceptance of responses to non-compliance notices
- Perform and coordinate validity review as per Agrément South Africa’s criteria
- Perform and coordinate licensee and qualified installers scheme audit
Technical Assessment
Support Technical Assessment on the following:
- Advise and review corrective actions
- Advice on documentation to be completed
- Verify that assessment processes have been completed
- Follow up on outstanding quality issues
- Participating in the certification approval process as a member of the Agrément Technical Committee, should a need arise
Technical Presentations
Further the exposure of Agrément in the industry through:
- Deliver technical presentations to stakeholders/tertiary education institutions on Agrément and the benefits of certification
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
- A Degree in built environment discipline (NQF 7) (or higher) qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Architecture or Quantity Surveying
- 5 Years of Work Experience
- Exposure to ISO 9001 processes and procedures
- Experience inspecting building systems, products, and materials, including road products, sanitation systems, etc
Other Advantageous Requirements
- ISO 14024 Training
- ISO 17065 Training
- Accreditation as Lead Auditor
Skills, Experience, and Competencies
- Project and Programme Management.
- Knowledge of environmental standards (ISO, SANS and other)
- Ability to maintain high accuracy in preparing and entering information and attention to detail
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

Package & Remuneration
R549 042. 00 per annum (All-inclusive Cost to Company)
