Agrément South Africa (ASA) seeks to fill the following permanent position based in Pretoria:
Quality Management System Co-ordinator (Specialist Level) (All-inclusive Cost to Company)
Remuneration : R400 000.00 per annum

Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring compliance with the quality management system requirements for ASA and ensuring that the system is established, implemented and maintained by ASA.
Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Ensures compliance with quality requirements as stipulated in ASA’s Quality Manual by:
• Ensuring that the quality management system is established, implemented and maintained by ASA
• Ensuring continual improvement of the system
• Ensuring that Management Reviews take place, as should
• Performing quality control inspections and audit internal systems
• Controlling externally provided processes, products and services, in partnership with the Procurement Office
• Exercising authority to make decisions on quality acceptance and communicate these decisions to Departmental Heads, so that they can be rectified
• Reporting on key quality metrics related to ASA’s business performance, as well as quality investigation findings, to ASA’s Executive Management Team
• Providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders, on relevant policies, procedures, and training to fulfil obligations and conduct certification activities
• Interfacing with various staff within other departments across ASA
• Responding to verbal, written and electronic inquiries from ASA certificate holders, potential clients and stakeholders, on status of certificates
• Analyzing data (including customer feedback) and developing reporting mechanisms to track ASA’s performance
• Working with ASA Executive Management in analyzing, upgrading and improving services related to expert participation, evaluation, certification, document management and other relevant processes and services.
• Reviewing the effectiveness of corrective action taken.
• Proposing changes to the system, where necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12
• National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Built Environment
• 3+ years of people management/leadership experience
• Must have previous proven experience in implementation of a Quality Management System and be proficient with ISO9001
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Management Systems Auditing
• 5+ years of experience leading the development, review and deployment of Quality System processes and procedures
• Experience in quality control and management, codes, norms and procedures.
Skills and competencies:
• Report writing
• Must display autonomy (ability to work independently with minimal supervision).
• Must be detail oriented (ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task).
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• High degree of accuracy
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to meet deadlines
