ERP SPECIALIST: FINANCE
D - UPPER PATTERSON GRADING)
Purpose of the Job:
• The initiation, implementation and optimization of industry best practices for sustainable financial management including the ERP (JDE/Oracle Fusion) and integrated systems environment, with ongoing support and improvement projects at multiple operations.
Location:
• Sandton, Johannesburg
Job Requirements:
• Formal tertiary qualification in Financial Management.
• Formal training in Oracle Fusion or JDE finance module.
• Formal training in Oracle EPM will be highly advantageous.
• Project management qualification will be advantageous.
• 8 years’ experience in relevant ERP, implementation and support.
• 4 years’ middle management experience in a mining environment with detailed understanding thereof and experience in the finance module and business processes.
Job Responsibilities:
• Business process mapping for Finance and ERP systems in general.
• Identification of improvement initiatives for the ERP system.
• Decision making on best business practices related to finance and motivation thereof with the relevant HODs and deliver projects to the finance department based on business requirements.
• Prepare management reports highlighting functional gaps, mitigating controls, and ongoing projects feedback.
• Responsible for optimization of the finance environment and related ERP system functions at multiple operations, including:
‾ Development, implementation and improvement of the finance business processes for sustainable financial management and consolidated financial reporting.
‾ Configuration within the ERP finance module.
‾ Manage and support the respective systems module while building and guarding a common template with different applications at the various ARM joint ventures.
