  • Securing capacity for ad-hoc demand. This includes service provider, vehicle type and loading expected time of arrival (ETA)
  • Building relationships with transport service providers and their operational staff who book vehicles
  • On-time and accurate publishing of route schedules per delivery type
  • Measuring and publishing planning KPI’s and management reporting
  • Analysing and reporting on assigned short term projects
  • Continuous improvement of planning function and reporting
  • Continuous monitoring of actual vs. planned performance through all functions in order to quickly respond to changes in the system that requires changes to the tactical plan
  • Crisis management and providing formal feedback on changes to plan and execution
  • Effectively communicate plans and performance against plan
  • Continuous improvement of Transport plans taking changing operational dynamics into account
  • Assist to manage the end-to-end customer service process in line with Best Operating practice
  • Assisting with general office work i.e., Planning requisition management, KPI update, invocom updates, OEC Files updates
  • Working together with the operations team and the rest of the LIC team to be aware of daily operational variables which may influence future route scheduling
