JOB DESCRIPTION

Key performance areas include but are not limited to: 

·       Examine and evaluate systems 

·       Research and test new technologies 

·       Conduct proof of concepts and pilots 

·       Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features 

·       Implement cybersecurity technologies 

·       Monitor logs and reports for cybersecurity incidents 

·       Conduct Vulnerability Assessments on Infrastructure and Applications 

·       Ability to create and maintain scripts 

·       Document interfaces between new and legacy systems 

·       Validate changes by testing programs 

·       Ability to build and deploy applications using CI/CD 

·       Perform SQL queries 

·       Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely 

·       Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features 

·       Documenting any processes which employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system 

Application Criteria:

 Qualifications and Experience: 

·       3 Year Diploma in IT 

·       Project Management Certificate 

·       ITIL (Advantage) 

·       2 years IT experience in System Analysis, Design and Development, 

·       2 years of experience working with Linux Systems (Ubuntu, CentOS or similar 

Skills And Competencies:

·       Familiarity with SQL and database operations 

·       Familiarity with Linux Operating System 

·       Familiarity with coding or scripting (e.g., JS, Python, Linux) 

·       Familiarity with Cybersecurity tools and technologies 

·       Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines 

·       Problem Solving 

·       Communication

·       Ability to work in a team 

·       Client orientation and customer focus
