POOL PLANTROOM OPERATOR 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Matric / Grade 12 

·       First Aid Level 1 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

·       2 years’ working experience in a water treatment related field 

·       Understanding of water chemistry principles, including PH levels, chlorine, and chemical balancing 

·       Handling chemicals and emergency spills 

·       Applicant must be physically fit and able to lift 30kg 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB 

·       Ensure that the Water Treatment Plantroom and Water Recycling Plant is operational. 

·       Perform housekeeping duties within the Water Treatment Plantroom and Water Recycling Plant 

·       Responsible for the daily water treatment activities, pool top up, and chemical stock control. 

·       The incumbent will be required to become familiar with all relevant SOPs (Standard 

·       Operating Procedures) and EPs (Emergency Procedures). 

Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment equity Act, No. 55 of 1998 and any amendments thereto, uShaka Marine World's internal recruitment policy as well as uShaka Marine World’s employment equity plans.
