The Department of Sport and Recreation in the Directorate of Sport and Recreation is seeking to appoint a Graduate Cathsseta Learnership at the Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria West Campus.
INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit, together with the CVs, a fully completed standardized application form available from the university intranet as well as recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Failure to comply with this instruction will disqualify the candidate. Candidates may be subjected to appropriate psychometric testing and other selection instruments
Key performance areas/Core functions:
• Assist with office administration and functions.
• Assist with organisation and administration of sport related activities.
• Coordinate and organise sport events.
Minimum requirements:
• TUT Graduate in Sport Management, Coaching Science and Event Management.
• Academically well-performing student.
• Specific knowledge and experience in the administration of sport will be an added advantage.
• Successful candidates must be prepared to work after hours and during weekends.
• Must be computer literate. (Microsoft)
• A valid driver’s license

The Department of Computer Systems Engineering invites applications for the position of Part-Time Lecturers at the Soshanguve South Campus to teach the following subjects:
•ORS216D Operating Systems (1 candidate)
•ARI216D Artificial Intelligence 226 (1 candidate)

Key performance areas/Core functions:
•Preparing all lecture materials, assessments, and related documents.
•Presenting lectures and assessing students in the department.
•Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under the subject head, sectional head and HOD supervision.
•Collate and submit complete course files (including lesson plans, assessments, moderation reports, and student performance records) before and after each semester.
•Integrate ECSA Graduate Attributes into curriculum delivery, assessment design, and student development.
•Participate in ECSA accreditation preparation, including evidence collection, documentation, and quality assurance activities.
•Undertake other related academic or administrative tasks assigned by the HOD.
•The appointments are for the TUT contact period for the 2nd semester of 2026.
•Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT policy.
•No additional remuneration for travelling, relocation, etc.
Minimum requirements:
Academic qualifications:
•A master’s degree in computer systems engineering / Intelligent Industrial Systems /Electrical Engineering / Artificial Intelligence with adequate knowledge in therequired subjects.
Experience:
• At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience and/or 3 years of experience in industry.
Additional Requirements:
• Must attend the academic orientation programme designed for a part-time lecturer.
• Must attend Departmental Curriculum review
Registration with professional body (if applicable):
• Registration with ECSA is recommended
Postgraduate Students:
• Supervisor’s progress report should be attached together with the application.
