BRIEF JOB PURPOSE:
To provide reliable, secure and effective IT services and systems across TIKZN, ensuring the availability and optimal performance of the organisation's IT infrastructure, networks, servers, business systems and digital platforms. The IT Specialist: Webmaster will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of TIKZN's website and web platforms, provision of technical support, information security, system administration and business continuity.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (Among others)
· Responsible for the design, management, maintenance, performance and continuous improvement of TIKZN's website, intranet and other web-based platforms.
· Implement search engine optimisation strategies, monitor website performance and conduct web usage analysis to improve visibility, accessibility and user experience.
· Monitor, maintain and provide technical support for TIKZN's IT infrastructure, networks, servers, hardware, software and connectivity to ensure availability, reliability and optimal performance.
· Develop, implement and maintain TIKZN's document management system and information repository systems, including user access and integration with other organisational systems.
· Provide IT technical and end-user support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, connectivity, user access and other systems-related issues.
· Administer and support TIKZN's business applications and IT-related systems, including CRM and other enterprise systems, and support system integrations, upgrades and technology improvements.
· Implement and maintain information and cybersecurity controls, backup and disaster recovery procedures, user access controls and other measures required to safeguard TIKZN's systems, information and business continuity
JOB SPECIFICATION
Educational and /or Technical Competencies:
· A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Information Technology or relevant IT qualification is essential.
· A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
· Valid Driver’s License
· ITIL certificate will be beneficial.
· Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification will be beneficial.
· Microsoft Azure Administrator certification will be beneficial.
· Microsoft 0365 certification will be beneficial.
· System development certification will be beneficial.
Experience:
· Three (3) years’ experience in web-based system management is a prerequisite.
· Plus, three (3) years’ experience providing IT technical support will be added advantage.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
· Must have knowledge of IT infrastructure, network and server administration.
· Must have knowledge of intranet and portal management.
· Must have knowledge of website design, development and maintenance.
· Must have knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques and web analytics.
· Must have knowledge of IT technical support and troubleshooting.
· Must have knowledge of business systems and applications, including CRM and document management systems.
· Must have knowledge of information and cybersecurity principles, backup and disaster recovery procedures.
· Must have knowledge of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
· Ability to analyse and resolve technical problems effectively.
· Ability to keep abreast of technological developments and recommend appropriate solutions.
· Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
· Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels.
· Good analytical and reasoning skills.
· High level of confidentiality, integrity and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of risk management concepts, frameworks and methodology.
· Knowledge of applying models, tools and methods.
· Knowledge of designing modular architecture.
· Knowledge of applying Lean startup, Agile and DevOps methods.
· Knowledge of ICT governance, COBiT standards, ISO standards.

BRIEF JOB PURPOSE:
To provide strategic leadership and direction to the Human Resources function and ensure that TIKZN's human resources strategies, policies, practices and systems support the organisation's strategic objectives. The General Manager: Human Resources will be responsible for organisational transformation and employment equity, talent management, employee and labour relations, performance management, learning and development, employee wellness, remuneration and benefits, organisational development and change management, while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and good governance practices.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (Among others)
· Provide strategic Human Resources support and leadership, including the development, implementation and monitoring of HR strategies, policies, procedures and systems aligned to TIKZN's overall strategy and applicable legislation.
· Lead organisational transformation, employment equity and change management initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the effective implementation of transformation, diversity, inclusion and organisational development programmes.
· Manage talent acquisition, retention and development, including workforce planning, recruitment and selection, induction, succession planning, talent management and employee development.
· Manage employee and labour relations, including employee relations matters, grievance and disciplinary processes, engagements with organised labour, dispute resolution and representation of TIKZN at the CCMA and other relevant labour forums.
· Manage the employee performance management system, ensuring effective performance contracting, monitoring, reviews and continuous improvement of performance management practices across the organisation.
· Provide strategic oversight of learning, skills development and employee wellness, including the Workplace Skills Plan, training and development programmes, internships and learnerships, employee wellness initiatives and related statutory requirements.
· Manage remuneration, employee benefits and payroll oversight, including remuneration practices, rewards and benefits, medical aid and retirement fund arrangements, and monitoring of the payroll service provider.
· Manage the Human Resources Sub-unit's budget, resources and people, including budget planning, expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, staff performance and development, and the effective and efficient utilisation of resources.
· Ensure HR governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement, including compliance with applicable labour legislation, HR policies and governance requirements, maintenance of appropriate HR information and records, and monitoring and reporting on key human resources indicators.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Educational and /or Technical Competencies:
· Honours degree (NQF level 8) in in Human Resources Management / Human Resources Development or a related field is essential.
· A master’s degree (NQF level 9) will be an added advantage.
· Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
· 5 - 8 years’ experience at a management level in Human Resources Management.
· Functional expertise in Human resources management, finance and budgeting, governance and compliance.
· Good understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of South African labour legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to Human Resources Management.
· Sound understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and governance requirements within a public entity environment.
· Ability to develop, analyse, conceptualise and implement Human Resources strategies, policies and programmes.
· Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
