Job Advert Summary
This role is accountable for the end-to-end leadership and delivery of complex company-wide strategic
projects that directly enable Sasria’s strategic objectives.
The role operates as a trusted delivery partner to executive leadership, shaping delivery options,
enabling informed decision-making, and ensuring disciplined execution across business, technology, and
change dimensions. The incumbent is responsible for translating strategy into executable programmes,
navigating organisational complexity, and driving predictable outcomes through strong governance,
stakeholder alignment, and benefits realisation.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, commerce, IT, management practices or project management.
• PMBOK certifications are required.
• PRINCE2 certifications.
• AgilePM/Scrum Master certifications are required.
Experience
• Minimum 8 years’ post qualification experience in a project managementposition, preferably in insurance environments.
• Proven experience in application development projects is essential.
• Proven experience in system integration projects is essential.
• Experience in data management or artificial intelligence-related projects will be beneficial.
• Operating at the level of a professionally qualified, experienced specialists and mid management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery Leadership
•Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, company-wide strategic initiatives that enable Sasria’s corporate strategy and transformation agenda.
• Translate strategic objectives into executable delivery roadmaps, ensuring clear scope, sequencing, dependencies, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Shape delivery options and recommend trade-offs to Executive Sponsors and Steering Committees to optimise value, timing, risk, and organisational impact.
Methodology, procedure and process review
• Provides input on the improvement of project plans, annual plans and ways of work.
• Research and benchmark PMO approach and methodology with the view to improve; and
• Continuously review and revise the procedures/processes.
Governance, Assurance & Decision Enablement
• Establish and maintain robust project governance in line with Sasria policies, regulatory requirements, and PMO standards.
• Ensure disciplined management of scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits, escalating decisively where strategic outcomes are at risk.
• Drive transparency, predictability, and accountability through structured governance forums and assurance mechanisms.
• Accountable for robustness & predictability of delivery against approved project plans.
• Accountable for shaping & clearly communicating the agreed end-state vision and the journey to stakeholders.
• Accountable for formal hand-over to the business including transitional readiness, acceptance and he completion of project closure documentation.
Executive and Stakeholder engagement
• Act as a trusted delivery partner to Executive Management, Steering Committees, and senior stakeholders.
• Provide clear, insight-driven reporting and recommendations that enable timely, informed executive decision-making.
• Proactively manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and external partners, resolving conflicts and navigating organisational complexity
Change & Benefits Realisation
• Accountable for change outcomes associated with assigned initiatives, including business readiness, adoption, and transition into operations.
• Ensure benefits realisation plans are defined, owned, tracked, and achieved in collaboration with business sponsors.
• Integrate change, communication, and stakeholder readiness considerations into delivery planning from inception.
Portfolio & Dependency Management
• Manage interdependencies across projects and programmes to optimise sequencing and minimise enterprise risk.
• Contribute to portfolio-level prioritisation, capacity planning and delivery insights in partnership with the PMO.
• Identify systemic delivery risks and improvement opportunities across the broader change landscape.
Leadership, Capability & Professional Practise
• Provide delivery leadership, coaching and mentorship to project team members, modelling high standards of professionalism and accountability.
• Promote consistent application of project, programme and change management practices across Sasria.
• Contribute to the continuous maturity of the PMO through lessons learned and delivery excellence.
