GENERAL MANAGER: SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT 

Salary: R 1,494,900–R 1,787,328 p.a. inclusive of benefits

Nature of Position: Permanent 

 

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA in the field of Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems and /or equivalent; Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government; The requirements for application of Senior Management Services (SMS) include the successful completion of an SMS Pre-entry programme (Nyukela) as endorsed by the National School Government (NSG) before appointment. 

 

Experience: 5 Years’ relevant experience at a senior managerial level. 

 

Knowledge and Skills: Functional / Professional Knowledge (subject knowledge), Planning & Organizing, Innovation / Creativity, Computer Literacy, Policy Analysis and Development, Strategic Capability and Leadership, People Management and Empowerment, Programme and Project Management, Financial Management, Change Management and Service Delivery Innovation. 

 

Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will oversee Strategic ICT Governance, Delivery Enablement and Stakeholder Engagement; Oversee the Application Portfolio Management and the Solutions Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Oversee Systems Integration and assure compliance and alignment to Enterprise Architecture Implementation; Oversee Digital Transformation, Innovation and e-Government Enablement; Oversee ICT Application deployment and Organisational Enablement; Ensure Applications Support and Operations; Provide leadership and resource management in the Departmental.

Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will provide Strategic Leadership and Governance within the District; Provide oversight for Grants Administration and Service Delivery in the District; Manage Administrative Support Services; Manage, implement & maintain the beneficiary records and systems Management; Manage staff and resources.

MANAGER: VETTING 

Salary: R932 292– R1 098 195 p.a. inclusive of benefits 

Location: Head Office Pretoria (Ref No. SAS HO26/07/26-02) 

Nature of Position: Permanent 

 

Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA in the field of Security Management / Criminal Justice / Police Science and or equivalent; Completion of The State Security Agency (SSA) Security Managers Course and A valid driver’s license code B is essential. 

 

Experience: 3 years’ experience in Security Management / Criminal Justice / Police Science in vetting / security management field of which 2 years must be at an Assistant Management level or equivalent. 

 

Knowledge and Skills: Functional / Professional Knowledge (subject knowledge), Planning & Organizing, Innovation / Creativity, Computer Literacy, Policy Analysis and Development, Manage Staff, Project Management, Manage Finance, Strategic Thinking and Planning. 

 

Key performance: The incumbent will facilitate the execution of vetting fieldwork investigations within the Agency; Develop, manage and implement policies, guidelines, norms and standards in vetting investigations for security clearance levels; Coordinate and monitor projects and files; Manage the resources in the Unit.
