About the Position

To identify, develop and implement effective integration designs that address business needs, by performing technical integration analysis tasks through specialization in understanding the business usage of information technology (IT) and helping technology add value to the business whilst understanding the technical architectures and platforms, as well as the IT capabilities and which applications in an organization deliver various capabilities, in order to continuously enhance service delivery. 

 

Job Purpose

About the Position

As a Senior Specialist SAP Functional (FICA), the incumbent will support clients by conducting thorough requirement analysis and providing expert guidance in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP FICA and associated modules such as PSCD, TRM, NWBC (Netweaver Business Client), FIORI, BRF+, IDOCs, oData. The role leverages advanced consulting skills, comprehensive business understanding, and SAP solution experience to ensure the seamless integration of SAP technology within the client's business environment, thereby facilitating the achievement of desired business outcomes.

About the Position

SARS is making an exciting opportunity available for a highly skilled, experienced and results driven Manager: Tariff Classification with sound judgement, strong business acumen and who ideally displays an ability to operate under independently. The manager is expected to contribute towards our higher purpose and service orientation by interpreting and applying tax law in regard to Customs Legislation (Tariff).  Finally, s/he will lead a team of like-minded individuals focussing on selected projects intended to not only assist in reducing the tax gap but also in supporting governments tax compliance strategy.

 

Job Purpose

To monitor, manage and control the functions of the sub-section dealing with the Tariff Classification. To provide technical and functional advice to all SARS offices with regard to tariffs classification.  The function of the tariff classification sub-unit is to deal with classification of goods, issuing tariff determinations and to provide technical and functional advice to all SARS and External Stakeholders with regard to tariff Classification of goods.

About the Position

SARS is looking for a dedicated, hardworking, self-driven and technically competent individual to support the installation, maintenance, repair and operational reliability of electronic security systems across SARS facilities. The successful incumbent must have practical experience in access control, CCTV/video surveillance and alarm systems, including the ability to conduct fault-finding, preventative maintenance, minor installations, system testing, configuration support, vendor coordination and technical reporting. Job Purpose

SARS seeks to appoint a Team Member: Technical Security to install, maintain, repair, test and support electronic security systems in line with SARS technical standards, operational requirements and approved security risk mitigation measures.

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting access control, CCTV/video surveillance, alarm and related low-voltage security infrastructure, including both existing SARS systems and future modernised platforms. This includes preventative and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, system wiring, device replacement, basic network-related troubleshooting, quality assurance of vendor work, completion of job cards and technical reports, and the escalation of unresolved system failures that may affect site security or operational continuity.

 

Education and Experience
