Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Grade 12
- Masters in Nursing
- Additional qualification in Nursing Education
- Registration with SANC as an Assessor and Moderator
- Minimum three (3) years experience in nursing practice
- Minimum three (3) years experience as a Nurse Educator in a Nursing College or university of Technology or University or Private Nursing Education Institution.
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Valid driver’s license
ADDED ADVANTAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation will be regarded as an added advantage.
- Working experience within a regulatory environment will be regarded as an added advantage.
- Additional qualification in Clinical Specialisation.
- Masters in Nursing qualification
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to travel and drive extensively and beyond working hours within the Basic Conditions of Employment Act provisions.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Operational Plan and sectional plan
- Develop standard operating procedures and policies for the section
- Develop implementation tools for Monitoring and Evaluation
- Analyze and evaluate institutional portfolios of evidence and annual self-assessment reports against SANC's prescribed accreditation requirements, criteria and standards to determine compliance and inform reaccreditation decisions.
- Conduct Monitoring and Evaluation site visits and analyse data
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to Monitoring and Evaluation
- Perform ad hoc tasks as delegated by the line manager/ supervisor
- Manage resources (Human, Financial, Physical and Information)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Performance Plan, Annual Operational Plan and the CPD implementation plan.
- Implement CPD in line with Council strategy and provisions of the Nursing Act.
- Contribute to the development required processes and documentation to enable CPD implementation as required.
- Evaluation of applications from Institutions/Organisations and individuals for recognition as CPD providers.
- Contribute to development and review of policies, standard operating procedures, frameworks, internal controls and systems within the area of specialization.
- Monitor compliance to CPD implementation by Nurse Practitioners and CPD Providers
- Identifying and reporting inherent risks within the CPD section.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders with matters related CPD.
- Liaise and respond to CPD related enquiries via email, telephone and attend to walk -in clients as and when required.
- Conducting support visits to provinces, health establishments on CPD implementation related matters.
- Assist with managing and analysing CPD implementation and compliance data.
- Compile CPD implementation and compliance reports.
- Supporting Council Committees and assist with presenting reports to Council and stakeholders as and when required.
