SALGA invites unemployed, suitably qualified graduates to join its Graduate Development Programme. This is a (Twelve) 12-month programme provides young professionals with meaningful workplace exposure, structured development and the opportunity to contribute to programmes that support and strengthen local government in South Africa.
The Graduate will gain practical workplace experience and structured professional development within SALGA. The intern will support the discipline programmes and projects through research, analysis, administration and project related activities, while applying their academic knowledge to real workplace challenges.
The role will also provide exposure to the local government sector, stakeholder engagements, mentoring and learning opportunities, enabling graduates to build technical, professional, and workplace competencies and enhance their future employability.
Applicants must be:
• South African Citizen
• Be unemployed graduates who have not previously participated in a similar graduate development programme
