Main Purpose
To Interpret and respond to alarms on all monitoring systems and perform effectively in emergency situations. Report faults correctly on the Plant Maintenance system and route to the relevant workstation.
Key Accountabilities
Talent Management and Succession Planning:
- The operations center is never to be left unmanned
- Receive, record and log all building related complaints/concerns via telephone from clients and dispatch responsible artisans/assistants to attend to the problem
- Ensure all faults are logged and contain all relevant information
- Familiar with BMS system
- Regularly check through the BMS system for all abnormal or unsafe conditions
- Interpret and respond to all alarms on the BMS system and report all abnormal or unsafe conditions to the relevant stakeholders
- Monitor all M&E equipment and report any breakdowns or unsatisfactory operating conditions to responsible artisan or supervisor
- Manage the emergency telephone and dispatch first aiders or fire fighters when necessary
- Operate fire telephones
- Program and switch M&E equipment as directed
- Respond to alarms from lift passengers via lift intercom and take appropriate action
- When requested switch systems in accordance with directives e.g. lights and air conditioning
- Be on stand-by to ensure complete continuity of shifts
- Assist supervisor with reasonable expectations
- Adhere to OHSA
- Ensure that customers with reasonable expectations are satisfied
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Assist supervisor in developing administrative directives
- Attend relevant courses as per WSP
- Draw relevant reports from Plant Maintenance system.
- Ensures that reporting time for shifts are adhered to and timely arrangements are made for emergencies.

Requirements
- Grade 12 Matric.
- 1 years’ experience in building environment.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Reporting to Marketing Manager- Sports: To design, create and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. MANAGE AND CREATE CONTENT FOR DIGITAL PLATFORMS
- Manage, maintain and modify the sports’ digital platforms according to strategies.
- Implement the image and positioning of the brand digitally.
- Maintain the highest data integrity on both the station digital platforms as well as the internal SABC intranet website.
- Communicate with internal IT Services in regards to updating station related information on the intranet as well on the station website.

2. IMPLEMENT THE STATION DIGITAL PLATFORMS STRATEGY
- Conduct research, develop and introduce new programmes when applicable to station strategy.
- Input in formulating the online digital platforms strategy.
- Respond to queries about the stations’ digital platforms
- Translate business goals and objectives into actionable and measurable digital marketing campaigns.
- Create and monitor social media campaigns to drive traffic to the website and on air.
- Produce and upload content (articles / images / podcasts / videos) for digital platforms.
- Manage and promote conversation and engagement on all digital platforms.
- Development and implementing of digital platforms and functionality to meet identified business needs.

EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ experience in digital platforms environment
- Experience in sound recording and editing.
- Proven experience managing sport properties or sport brands across multi-platform digital ecosystems (web, app/OTT, social, YouTube, podcast).
- Hands-on proficiency with, GTM, social ad platforms (Meta, X, YouTube, TikTok), programmatic, SEO/ASO, and social listening (e.g., Meltwater/Brandwatch).
- Experience with CRM/automation (e.g., Braze/HubSpot/Mailchimp), audience segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and lead-to-conversion funnels.
- Strong content operations for live sport (match-day workflows, real-time publishing, highlight packaging, rights-safe UGC, thumbnailing, metadata, captions).
- Ability to build and track performance dashboards (KPI setting, growth/engagement, CAC/LTV perspectives, attribution).
- Familiarity with OTT/VOD growth tactics (SABC Plus), app store optimisation, and cross-promotion with broadcast (TV/Radio).
- Working knowledge of creative suites (Adobe or equivalent) for quick turnarounds.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To execute audit assignments (includes financial, operational and compliance audits) in accordance with the Internal Audit Standards. To audit the efficiency and adequacy of financial and operational controls within the SABC to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and the PFMA and to inform relevant stakeholders on the state of the control environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
- Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.
- Examines, evaluates and documents information to support audit results.
- Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.

- Certified Internal Auditor or at least passed one or more parts of the CIA exam will be an added advantage
- Being a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors in good standing will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years of experience conducting Internal Audits
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of the auditing process i.e. audit engagement, development risk and control matrices (audit programmes execution, reporting, follow – up action).
- Knowledge of business process analysis to identify inefficiencies (e.g. structure, workflow analysis, business risks, management control strategies and bottleneck management)
- Knowledge of the Global Internal Audit standards and its Quality Assurance processes and requirements.

EXPERIENCE
- 6 years’ industry experience in Employee Relation environment of which 3 years should be on direct exposure, with a proven track record, in managing and attending to collective bargaining, CCMA or BC litigation and process, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court litigation and processes on behalf of an organisation, drafting of legal documents, managing disciplinary and grievance processes.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing: Platforms and Channels, the SABC News Brand Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating integrated brand, marketing, communications and public relations strategies for SABC News. The incumbent will drive audience growth, strengthen brand equity, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support the achievement of SABC News strategic objectives across television, radio, digital platforms, social media and SABC+. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
1. Strategy Development and Business Planning
- Develop, implement and evaluate the SABC News Brand and Communications Strategy in alignment with the Platforms and Channels Marketing Strategy and SABC corporate objectives.
- Develop annual and campaign-specific marketing, communications and audience growth plans.
