Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Infrastructure Operations, the successful incumbent is responsible for the technical administration of the infrastructure and cloud services to ensure a smooth configuration, maintenance and overall functioning of the cloud environment.
Key Performance Areas
Server Installation and Administration
- Participate in the setting up, configuration, and maintenance of server services.
- Ensure authentic systems policies and structured access control through Active Directory.
- Maintain and administer Microsoft systems and servers (Microsoft servers, AD Exchange, SCOM & SCCM)
- Monitor healthy state of active directory toolset, ADMT, Group Policy management, DNS, DHCP, account and file security, storage technologies.
- Maintain active directory in a multi-site, multi-AD server, 3000+ end user organisation.
- Report any inconsistencies in the server security logs.
- Maintain remote access server.
- Maintain & apply global, computer and user policies.
- Maintain AD and server security.
Cloud (AWS and Azure) Infrastructure Environment Administration
- Administer Cloud (AWS and Azure) Infrastructure platform services.
- Check virtual servers and related services performance and management.
- Maintain capacity planning for cloud infrastructure environment and report or act on any inconsistencies.
Standards, Procedures and Policies
- Prepare and maintain any server related documentation.
- Monitor server performance.
Provision of User Support to Business
- Provides 2nd line support for incident management including incident closure.
- Resolve all incidents logged with agreed SLA with the business.
- Monitor and handle incident logged to ensure adherence to SLA’s.
- Identifies; tracks and resolves system problems.
- Escalates system problems or opportunities to software vendor or Application Manager.
Stakeholder Management
- Aid in proactive and progressive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Deal with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Information Technology related qualification.
- Certified Microsoft Active Directory and Server administration.
- Certified Operational framework like ITIL v3 or 4 operations process.
- AWS and/or Azure certification added advantage.
- Relevant 3 years’ experience in Infrastructure Operations environment.
- Experience in Infrastructure service provisioning, configuration, and support.
- Experience in monitoring cloud infrastructure and services for performance and availability.
- Experience in management of home folder and data share structure.
- Experience in administration, management, and configuration of print server service.
- Experience in maintaining Server security at the virtual level.

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Capability Planning and Continuity Services, the successful incumbent is responsible for providing day-to-day capacity support, enterprise and cloud monitoring within the ICT environment to help meet service levels, performance requirements, reliability and continuity.
Key Performance Areas
Enterprise Capacity Operations
- Support the execution of capacity management activities across enterprise systems, cloud platforms and IT components.
- Assist with the installation, configuration and routine maintenance of approved monitoring tools, agents and cloud monitoring dashboards.
- Monitor system and cloud service performance, utilisation, event logs and alerts, and escalate issues where required.
- Capture and maintain accurate capacity and performance information for storage, servers, network and cloud environments.
- Assist with routine system and cloud platform checks, tuning activities and basic corrective actions in line with approved procedures.
- Provide input to capacity tracking, cloud utilisation analysis and support the preparation of operational reports.
- Set up and maintain user and service accounts as instructed and support system software and cloud administration activities.
Enterprise Capacity Support
- Collect and maintain information on business, system and cloud service requirements that may influence capacity demand.
- Assist with capacity trend analysis, baseline updates and routine forecasting activities across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide administrative and technical support for capacity management and cloud monitoring tools.
- Support the consolidation of capacity inputs from ICT, cloud service teams, business and project teams.
- Assist in ensuring that capacity information is available for project, operational and cloud resource planning activities.
Availability of ICT Infrastructure
- Percentage reduction in failures of third-party performance on MTTR/ MTBF against contract targets
- Percentage reduction in the cost of unavailability across ICT and cloud services.
- Percentage improvement in service delivery costs for infrastructure and cloud services.
- Timely completion of regular risk analysis and system reviews for infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Timely completion of regular cost-benefit analysis established for infrastructure and cloud resources.
- Component and cloud service failure impact analysis.
- Monitor and compile routine enterprise system and cloud performance reports.
- Prepare accurate system activity, monitoring, cloud utilisation and capacity reports.
- Maintain records and supporting documentation for operational and cloud reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Information Technology-related qualification.
- Operational framework like ITIL 4 Foundation.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner will be an advantage.
- Relevant 4 years’ experience in ICT enterprise systems, cloud environments, systems administration, monitoring, reporting or capacity support within a multi-user environment.

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Performance and Risk, the successful incumbent is responsible for identifying, measuring and reporting risks related to the procurement lifecycle. Also responsible for the implementation of the risks (operational, tactical and strategic) across the SCM domain, by ensuring that all risks identified are mitigated and maintained according to their requirements.
Key Performance Areas
Performance and Risk
- Support in the monitoring the implementation of the RAF and business unit Risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development of a risk management culture which includes training of staff on risk management policies and practices.
- Maintain the consistent application of the Procurement strategy, plan, frameworks, standards, policies and procedures.
- Track and provide information to AGSA.
- Track and provide information to Intenternal Audit.
- Implement effective performance and risk activities.
- Track and provide information relating to compliance audits.
Reporting
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Regulation reports.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Finance related qualification.
- Relevant 3 years’ experience in a Performance and Risk-related environment.
- Experience in procurement/ supply chain management within State Owned Entities (SoEs) will be an added advantage.
