Purpose of the role: 

To provide strategic, governance, investment and stakeholder support to the Chief Executive Officer and ensure the effective functioning of the Office of the CEO. 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and experience: 

·       A postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Investment Management, or a related discipline. 

·       A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage. 

·       A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, including at least 10 years at senior management or executive management level. 

·       Demonstrated track record in providing strategic leadership and executive advisory support, coupled with experience in corporate governance, stakeholder management, and organisational performance within asset management, investment management, financial services, institutional investor, development finance, or public sector institutions. 

·       Experience in engaging with Boards, executive committees, institutional investors, regulators and government stakeholders. 

·       Experience operating within complex, highly regulated financial services or investment environments will be a distinct advantage. 

Duties:

·       Provide strategic advice, analysis and decision support to the CEO. 

·       Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of organisational strategy and CEO priorities. 

·       Lead the effective operation, performance and administration of the Office of the CEO. 

·       Monitor the implementation of Board, Executive Committee and CEO decisions. 

·       Coordinate accurate and timely Board, shareholder and executive submissions. 

·       Support the CEO’s engagement with the Government Shareholder, clients, regulators, oversight bodies and strategic partners. 

·       Facilitate alignment between the PIC’s investment mandate, organisational strategy, client obligations and shareholder expectations. 

·       Prepare executive briefings on operational, investment and strategic matters. 

·       Coordinate organisational performance reporting, executive dashboards and corrective actions. 

·       Lead strategic and special projects on behalf of the CEO. 

·       Represent the CEO in selected engagements, as delegated.
